You don’t need another persontelling you who to become.

You’ve probably spent enough of your life figuring that out for everyone else.

How to succeed. How to lead. How to be responsible. How to meet expectations. How to become the person other people trust to have the answers.

And perhaps you’ve become very good at it.

But there’s a question I want to ask you.

When was the last time you stopped to question whether the life you’re getting better at living is the life you actually want?

  • Not the life that makes sense.
  • Not the life you can explain.
  • Not the life you’ve worked so hard to justify.

Yours.

I don’t know what brought you here.

Maybe there’s a decision you’ve been postponing. Something you’ve achieved that doesn’t feel the way you expected. A possibility you keep returning to. Or a question you haven’t been able to put into words.

Whatever it is, I don’t begin by telling you how to fix it.

I’d rather begin by understanding what you’re really asking and what’s driving your question.

Dr. Sara HegyScientist, Founder, Executive Coach & Leadership Strategist

Work with me · come in

What do you feel right now?

Stop pushing harder. Change where you push.

Take your time. Every door here is already a little open, and nobody is waiting to sell you anything.

What if being exceptionally good at your life has made it harder to question it?

I have spent years working in environments where competence matters. Where decisions carry consequences. Where people are expected to grow, adapt, perform, and deliver.

And I’ve become increasingly interested in a contradiction.

The more capable we become, the less permission we sometimes give ourselves to question the direction in which we’re using that capability.

  1. We learn how to make better decisions within an existing system. But we don’t always question the system.
  2. We learn how to become stronger leaders. But we don’t always question what leadership is asking us to sacrifice.
  3. We become better at meeting expectations. But we rarely stop to ask which expectations deserve to be met.

And then, when something stops feeling right, our first instinct is often to improve ourselves again.

  • Another course.
  • Another framework.
  • Another goal.
  • Another version of ourselves to work towards.

But what if improvement isn’t always the answer?

What if the question isn’t how to become more capable?

What if it’s what you want your capabilities to make possible?

That is the kind of question I find worth exploring.

You don’t have to be in crisis to question your direction.

Sometimes the people who need space to think are the people who appear to have everything under control.

They are making decisions. Leading teams. Building companies. Managing responsibilities. Supporting everyone around them.

And privately, they are carrying questions that don’t fit neatly into their calendars or in their lives.

You might recognise yourself here.

  • You’ve built something meaningful. But success has begun to feel more like an obligation than a choice.

You don’t necessarily want to abandon what you’ve achieved. You want to understand how to continue without disappearing into it.

  • You have a decision to make. And the usual way you make decisions isn’t helping.

You can analyse the options. You can see the risks. But the question may involve more than logic.

  • You know how to lead other people. But you’re questioning how you want to lead yourself.

The habits that made you effective may no longer be the ones you want to keep relying on.

  • You’ve been thinking about a different possibility for a long time.

You have convincing reasons for staying where you are. And a question that keeps returning anyway.

  • Or perhaps nothing is particularly wrong.

You’re simply curious about what else might be possible when you stop treating the familiar as inevitable.

You don’t need to identify with every one of these situations.

And you don’t need to arrive with a perfectly defined problem.

A meaningful question is enough to begin.

“At first, I was hesitant to start coaching. I didn’t understand what it was or how it could help me, until I heard Sara in an interview and decided to give it a try. After two calls, I joined her program a mix of group sessions and 1:1 coaching and it turned out to be one of the most useful and exciting experiences I’ve ever had. Sara’s smile, motivation, and strong coaching background helped me remove performance blocks that had held me back for years. With her guidance, I gained confidence, motivation, and stronger communication both at work and in my personal life. Coaching with Sara enhanced my performance and leadership skills, and I highly recommend her to anyone ready to take their professional and personal life to the next level.”

I'm not interested in creating a more impressive version of you.

I'm interested in understanding the person who's already there.

Dr. Sara Hegy

Your history matters. Your circumstances matter. Your ambitions matter.

So do the assumptions you've inherited, the responsibilities you've accepted, and the ways you've learned to interpret what is possible.

In my scientific work, I learned to be careful with conclusions.

Curiosity before conclusions

An explanation can sound convincing and still be incomplete.

A familiar pattern can feel inevitable simply because we haven't examined it closely enough.

I bring that same curiosity into coaching.

Not to treat your life as an experiment.

But to approach your questions with care rather than rushing towards the most obvious answer.

Challenge, with care

I will question you.

I may challenge an assumption you've relied on for years.

I may ask you to look at something from a perspective that initially feels uncomfortable.

And sometimes, I may ask why you're so determined to solve a problem before you've understood what the problem actually is.

But I am not there to replace your judgment with mine.

I don't want you to become dependent on my answers.

I want you to become more deliberate about your own.

Because the purpose of our work isn't to create a life that looks impressive from the outside. It's to help you examine what would make it meaningful to you.

Here’s a little peek inside

Sometimes the most important shift happens before anything changes on the outside.

  • A decision becomes easier to examine.
  • A conversation you've avoided becomes one you're prepared to have.
  • An obligation you've never questioned becomes a choice you can reconsider.
  • An ambition you dismissed becomes something you can investigate.
  • A definition of success that once felt permanent becomes open to discussion.

These may sound like small shifts. They are not always small in their consequences.

In our work, we might explore:

The decisions you're struggling to make.

Not only the options available to you, but what is influencing the way you see those options.

The relationship you have with success.

What you're pursuing, what you're protecting, and whether your definition of achievement still reflects your priorities.

The way you lead.

How responsibility, expectations, and familiar patterns are shaping your decisions and relationships.

The possibilities you've stopped considering.

Not because every possibility deserves to become a goal, but because you deserve to examine your choices before dismissing them.

The distance between what you understand and what you actually do.

How to translate reflection into deliberate actions that make sense within the realities of your life.

I won't promise that every conversation will give you a breakthrough.

And I won't promise that everything you're questioning needs to change.

Sometimes the most valuable outcome is discovering what you genuinely want to keep.

I don't bring you a map and tell you where to go.

We begin with the territory you're actually standing in.

The questions you're asking. The circumstances you're navigating. The decisions in front of you. And the things you might not yet have considered.

My approach is grounded in three movements.

  1. 01

    discover

We look beyond the question you've arrived with.

What is happening? What matters to you? What assumptions are shaping your interpretation? What might be missing from the picture that you’ve not yet noticed or realized?

  2. 02

    understand

We examine the patterns beneath your choices.

The ways you respond to uncertainty. The expectations you carry. The relationship between your personal values, your environment, and your decisions.

Not every obstacle is inside you. Sometimes the context itself deserves to be questioned.

  3. 03

    choose

We consider what deliberate action could look like.

A conversation. A decision. A boundary. An experiment. A commitment.

Or perhaps the recognition that you need more time and information before making a choice.

I don't measure meaningful work by how dramatic your next step looks. I care whether it is genuinely yours.

There isn't one right way to explore what comes next.

Some questions benefit from private, sustained attention. Others become more powerful when explored through the perspectives and experiences of other people.

I offer two premium coaching experiences.

PRIVATE ONE-TO-ONE COACHING

For the questions that deserve a space entirely their own.

When a decision is deeply personal, when the circumstances are complex, or when you want sustained attention on your development, private coaching creates room for that work.

Who this space is for

Our conversations are shaped around your priorities, circumstances, and the questions we're exploring together.

Not a generic programme applied to your life.

A coaching relationship built around the work that matters to you.

For people who value depth, privacy, and individual attention.

THE EDGE MEMBERSHIP

Some of the most valuable questions become more interesting when other people are willing to explore them with you.

The Edge is my premium group coaching experience within Luminal.

Who this space is for

It's designed for people who want to examine familiar assumptions, encounter different perspectives, and pursue deliberate personal development through a shared coaching environment.

It is not a networking club.

And it is not a place where everyone needs to perform certainty or success.

It's a space for thoughtful people who are prepared to question, reflect, and participate.

For people who value individual development alongside the perspectives of others.

Explore The EDGE

Both premium coaching pathways begin with an initial coaching conversation with me, where we can explore your questions and whether continuing together makes sense.

Before you choose

The questions you’reafraid to ask

Putting your time and money into yourself is a big step. Here are honest answers first.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. For Premium Immersion, instalments are available. Pick what doesn’t create pressure.

What happens if the first session doesn’t help?

Full refund guarantee if you don’t leave with a clearly sought-out and written next step. You’ll receive intentional coaching to experience moving from A to B. No exceptions to that rule.

How much time do I need?

Freedom Room: 2 to 4 hours a week, your depth. First session: 90 minutes. Premium Immersion: 90 minutes a week.

Can I move from one option to another?

Yes. Start in the Room, then move to a first session. Start with a session, then move to The EDGE or Premium Immersion. Start where you are; our team is there to serve you.

How do I know which one is right for me?

Ask yourself one question: what do I need most right now? Perspective and ongoing support: Freedom Room. Growing with peers across the year: The EDGE. One decision you need to see clearly: the first session. Ready to change a pattern: Premium Immersion. Still unsure? Explore the free guide below and get in touch with our team.

What if I’m not ready?

Don’t force it. Get clarity from the team. Book your intro call whenever it feels right.

You don't need to know exactly what you want before we speak.

In fact, if you knew all the answers, there would be much less to explore.

Our first coaching conversation is an opportunity to bring a question that matters to you into a different kind of space.

What you might bring

You might bring a situation you've been revisiting for months.

A choice you're finding difficult.

A challenge in the way you lead.

An ambition you haven't allowed yourself to take seriously.

Or simply the feeling that something in your life deserves closer examination.

We won't begin with the assumption that you need to reinvent yourself.

We'll begin with what you're experiencing.

And we'll explore what might be influencing the way you're looking at it.

What to expect

You should expect an actual coaching conversation, not a presentation about why you need to buy a coaching programme.

If further work makes sense, we can discuss what that could look like.

If it doesn't, the decision is still yours.

The next step

Apply for a coaching conversation with me.

Share a little about what you want to explore. We'll use that information to determine the appropriate next step.

Apply for a conversation

Applying does not obligate you to join an ongoing coaching programme.
